About the lesson
I have been a private tutor for fellow peers and students since 2016. I am well versed in the English essay and use a Socratic pedagogy as the way in which I do essay review. My main tutoring technique puts the student and their connection to their work before trivial mistakes such as spelling or grammatical errors. My teaching goal is to show students a more impassioned link to their writing through critically thinking about their ideas, and by showing them how to implement their own personal intricacies into their work!

About Tara
I have graduated from Orange Coast Community college with an associate degree in English and am currently attending Cal State Long Beach for my bachelors in creative writing. I am a staff writer for the CSULB school of art literary magazine, and have had a short story published in the first volume of the magazine’s publication. My ultimate career goal is to become a professional writer.
