Methodology
I strive to help my students gain the writing and literary analysis skills they will need to succeed in current and future courses, as well as their personal writing endeavors. I encourage the growth of a student's individual voice in writing and nurture an eye for unique analytical insights.
Background
I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a 3.7 GPA. I have passed a variety of courses on education and undergone a hundred hours observing professional instructors and analyzing instructional techniques. I have led writing workshops at college level, served as the editor of a literary magazine, contributed to classroom management across multiple grades, and was the head coordinator of the creative writing club at Portland Community College. I currently have two published ebooks distributed through Barnes and Noble.
