Methodology
I base my classes on rigorous, culturally responsive learning. In addition to academics, I ensure my students feel loved and respected in the class environment. I love to hear student voices, so we do more guided discussions than what most 5th graders would do.

I am a current English teacher for 5th graders in Newark, New Jersey. My students excel in reading and writing, operating well beyond the New Jersey average. I have taught for three years, both in person and online, so I have experience with both.
