English/writing/literacy/college prep lessons from professional Editor/Writer and former Managing Editor of a weekly newspaper

Methodology

I attended Villanova University, where I majored in English Literature (with a minor in Political Science). Before finishing my studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University, I spent a semester studying abroad in England; during my time there, I became as well-versed in British Literature as I already was in American Literature.

While at Villanova, I was nominated by the English Department to work as an English tutor in the University Language Lab.

Background

I have taught students from grade school ages all the way up to underclassmen in college, and my services are available to that entire range.
When I was in school, teachers and tutors were most likely to reach and to help me if they experienced the subject matter along with me, all the while displaying a passion for and an expert level of knowledge in said subject matter.
I am a big kid at heart and I love to have fun: I love teaching so much because I am able to have fun while doing it, so students can expect to learn in a fun and light-hearted environment.
