About the lesson

I use a variety of teaching methods and approaches as all learners have different learning strengths and weaknesses. I have found it is important to vary the learning activities in order to help students retain their focus and that effective teaching involves constant reassessment of student learning in order to achieve optimum success. Whether teaching face-to-face or virtually, I continuously update my knowledge and use of technology to facilitate learning.

About Susan

I have taught all levels and skills of ESL for more than twenty years in the U.S. and the Middle East. My recent focus has been providing instruction in advanced composition and research skills. I have also worked as a Dyslexia Specialist. I am fluent in French and have moderate fluency in German and spoken Arabic.
