Methodology
My specialty is helping children develop their natural English conversational skills empowering them to converse easily with native English speakers in all situations.
My classes are fun, but focus on pushing my student(s) to their highest potential. Learning a new language is incredibly challenging and instilling confidence in each child is critical. I focus on teaching questions and sentences that can be used naturally on a daily basis before adding in new vocabulary. My teaching methods have been refined throughout my years teaching abroad and consistently produced great results.
Background
Hi! I'm Daniel Shultz. I've spent the last 5 years living and teaching English to children in Guangdong, China. Over that time, I've taught in kindergartens, training centers, and outdoor sports classes. I've also trained other English teachers and helped develop several school's English curriculum.
I am conversational in Mandarin and speak a bit of Cantonese. I live with my wife who is from Jiangmen in Tacoma, Washington.
