About the lesson

I teach the communicative approach with lessons based on real life and work experiences. We will first develop an ESL Learning Plan that fits your needs and interests. You may need ESL for school, work, or other reasons. A typical Beginner one hour lesson plan:
Speaking/Pronunciation -- we talk about a picture, news, movie, song or practice role-playing a script. (10 minutes)
Grammar -- Past tense practice (20 minutes)
Reading -- Can be text you bring in to class (15 minutes)
Listening -- Youtube or other audio/video practice (15 minutes)

I am easygoing and very patient with my students. I speak English slowly and clearly and wait until you can understand every word I am saying. I will explain anything that you may find difficult. We will practice words or phrases so you can remember them. I want to help you speak and listen to English with confidence and not be afraid of using English.
