About Josie
I am an Arts Law graduate from the Australian National University where I attained Distinctions and High Distinctions in both my degrees and ranked first in the year on individual essays and assignments. I studied English electives at university level in my Arts degree and I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. I have worked as an academic tutor of English for over 10 years. I teach essay writing, assignment writing, oral presentations, literacy, creative writing and English as a second language. As a person who has mastered a foreign language (French), I am better able to teach English to others, including people for whom English is not their native language.

I can assist with essay writing, report writing, oral presentations, literature, written expression, English as a second language, study skills, and more. I also offer a review service where I comment on individual essays and assignments and suggest improvements in tracked changes and make comments for the student's consideration.
I have tutored and coached students in a range of subject areas for over 10 years, including primary school, high school, and university/TAFE students.
I enjoy helping students of all abilities achieve their potential, based on techniques I used as a high achieving student and in my career as a solicitor.
