My teaching method, or pedagogy if you will, is all about growth mindset. From a younger age I maintained the idea that as individuals, we are only the best if we don't try hard or try at all. My perspective on that quickly changed as I continued to make mistakes and faced challenges on my own. However, from that point on into adulthood, I have developed a stronger sense of what it means to grow everyday and not to be complacent in my capacity to learn.
I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, with a degree in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language Concentration (K-6). I speak Spanish conversationally and have developed experience in studying and teaching abroad. I am passionate about travel, photography, art, music and running/exercise. I adore teaching, but most of all, I love learning everyday.
