I base my lessons specifically around your needs. We talk and establish what your weak areas are and we start from there. But we also build on your strengths. And eventually, we will merge the two. I work with many "reluctant readers" and "reluctant writers" and strive to convert you to be enthusiastic in both areas. Studies show that successful people have strong reading and writing skills. My goal for you is SUCCESS!
I have taught all levels of high school English for more than 10 years in Nevada and Texas. My experience is with students from all walks of life. I'm patient and never give up on you. We can work individually or in small groups. I tailor my lessons specifically to your needs. Your success is my goal.
My BA is in English from CSUN, a well-respected university near Los Angeles.
