Experienced ESOL teacher with 4 years of teaching American English internationally and online
Methodology
I am both an ESOL teacher and tutor. My students are often high school learners to adult learners, and our meetings are usually one-on-one interactions. My students often ask me to teach them some grammar rules, how to structure English sentences (syntax), how to improve their responses to questions, and to help them improve their American accents. How I teach students often is through sharing documents and guiding them on how to correct themselves. With time, I let the students figure out their errors by hinting it to them. By building metalinguistic awareness, students will be set on their pathway to becoming autonomous learners.
Background
I am a post-graduate student in Linguistics, option in TESOL. I received my Bachelor's degree in English Education, emphasis in language and linguistics, and a minor in TESOL from California State University, Long Beach. I currently work as an ESL specialist on campus and online during the Covid-19 pandemic, and I work as a freelance ESOL teacher on Fiverr. In my spare time, I volunteer in two Discord communities where I teach 4 times a week teaching English grammar to international learners.

$40 for 1 ESOL lesson with 1-8 subjects of your choice (please message me directly on the subjects and inquiries) for 120 minutes via online.
