I employ ESL techniques, connecting vocabulary, illustrating, demonstrating, using real life examples. I use authentic, engaging literature. I am an interactive teacher, very entertaining with warmth and a sense of humor. I’ve supervised teachers and designed curricula on campuses, staying abreast of how to organize and deliver high interest/high impact lessons that make learning come alive. I capture student interest, use a nice mix of activities that culminate with the end goal in mind. I help writers scaffold from the basic to the sophisticated/publishable.
