About Artem

My name is Artem and I was born in Moscow, Russia in 1984. My family immigrated to Toronto, Canada when I was 12 years old and I’ve lived most of my life within this city and the surrounding areas. I graduated from middle school, high school, and university in Toronto. Being 32 years old I’ve found a passion for teaching kids, my university educational background allowed me to take a course in child psychology, where I was able to teach elementary school kids to read books and I could help them to understand the meaning, pronunciation, provide feedback to their teachers and my professor. I received an excellent grade in that subject. This experience was very useful, since this passion for teaching came in at the right time, since my mother gave birth to my youngest sister (who is 20 years old now) and I could (and continue) to assist in her schoolwork in subjects such as: English, literature, history, science, and mathematics. Kids are our future and I respect the efforts of parents and teachers who underline the need to learn English, which is used socially. Furthermore, younger population's knowledge of English-an international language standard of communication used in business and politics.

About the lesson

Ihave experience with teaching young children online while utilizing various online teaching techniques, such as TPR or total physical response that helps young learners grasps words, grammar, andearly childhood reading techniques as early as when your child is four years old.

Other learning capabilities and props like toys are widely used in order to makeyour child's learning more interactive and unique that helps your child learn the English alphabet more effectively
