Methodology

I am a former elementary/middle grades teacher of 10 years. I enjoy hands-on activities. I like to find out "Why". I am not a fan of memorizing a list of dates and facts.

Background

I taught in a classroom for over 10 years. In addition, I have worked as a substitute in all areas. I enjoyed the flexibility with the sub job; but, I also enjoyed the variety of subject matter.

I attended Morehead State University and graduated in 1992.
While in the classroom, I taught History, Geography and Government to grades 4,5 and 6.
During this time my students had excellent test scores and most enjoyed my teaching style.
