About Tess

I earned a Master’s Degree in French Communication and Language Training after years of focused study in linguistics, education, and international communication during my academic training. During the past 8 years, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve their French through supportive instruction and practical communication methods. Teaching French allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and cultural understanding in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident expressing themselves in another language.

My teaching style focuses on adaptability, patience, and communication-centred learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to interactive speaking activities and conversation practice. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, world cinema, and cultural history that help me bring practical examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. These experiences help students connect language learning with real-world communication and cultural understanding. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing learners communicate comfortably in situations that once felt difficult or unfamiliar.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate comfortably while developing strong grammar understanding and practical speaking skills through supportive and engaging learning methods. I teach pronunciation, sentence construction, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, verb conjugation, and conversational fluency using explanations that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include guided discussions, speaking exercises, storytelling tasks, listening practice, and cultural exploration that help students understand how French is used naturally in everyday life. I create a calm learning environment where students feel relaxed participating openly and improving steadily without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports communication growth, confidence, and long-term language development together.

Beginners focus on pronunciation practice, greetings, essential vocabulary, and simple sentence structures through organised repetition and interactive activities that build confidence gradually. Intermediate learners improve conversational flow, grammar accuracy, listening ability, and response timing through practical communication exercises and guided discussions. Advanced students strengthen natural fluency, expressive communication, and language confidence for academic, travel, or professional situations. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Learning French should feel enjoyable, useful, and rewarding. I encourage students to practise naturally during lessons instead of relying only on memorisation techniques. Many learners become more expressive and confident communicators as their language abilities continue improving naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen practical fluency while appreciating the elegance and richness connected to the French language and culture.
