About Hazel
My interest in the French language began when I first explored French literature and cultural traditions during my academic studies. I became fascinated by the richness of the language and its influence on global communication. This interest encouraged me to pursue further study and complete a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics.
During the past 7 years, I have worked with students who wanted to improve their French speaking, listening, and reading skills. Some learners study French for academic purposes, while others enjoy learning it for personal growth. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and regular conversation practice so students can gain confidence gradually.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French books, watching French films, and learning about the culture of French-speaking communities. These experiences help me stay connected to the language and bring authentic examples into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence in French communication is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate comfortably in real-life situations. Beginners start by learning pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and basic sentence structures. I introduce simple phrases used in greetings, introductions, and everyday conversations. Listening practice helps learners become familiar with the rhythm and sounds of spoken French while improving their comprehension.
As students gain experience, lessons expand to include reading passages, conversation practice, and writing exercises. Learners study verb conjugation and sentence patterns through clear explanations and practical examples. Students practice describing experiences, asking questions, and expressing opinions in French. These activities help them expand vocabulary and develop stronger communication ability.
Language learning improves with patience and consistent practice. I encourage students to participate actively during lessons and try speaking without hesitation. Over time, learners develop clearer pronunciation and better fluency. My goal is to help students enjoy learning French while building practical language skills.
