About Yasmine
I’ve been teaching for almost 10 years. As a teacher I taught French II to IV and AP French Language and Culture to students in grades 10 and 11. I also collaborated with colleagues to design common assessments, curriculum maps and pacing guides within the department and across the ontario district.

Literary texts, whether they be novels, short stories, plays or poetry, are worth incorporating in an A-level course for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are a route into the culture of the language. Secondly, they offer material for discussion and writing. Thirdly, they provide large amounts of linguistic input which will help develop language acquisition.
