About Kathryn
Hello! My name is Kathryn. I've been studying French since I was ten years old. My studies culminated in June of 2022 when I graduated with a French Minor, focused in translation and reading comprehension. While in college I did research under my French Department to translate French poetry texts into English as well as research on French poetry styles an authors. I'm deeply passionate about helping people enjoy French literature and language!

About the lesson

- using a series of short French texts, I teach students about the ins and outs of using the French language
- a typical lesson plan looks like 30 mins to one hour discussing the assigned text including teaching new words and phrases as well as some fun games.
- my vast experience learning about the language from a variety of different teachers has prepared me well to teach a wide audience of learners.
- this is a great course for students aged middle school and up, also awesome as refresher for previous students.
