Methodology
After so many years of teaching , I am proud to say that my goal is to meet the needs of each individual student. Depending on your goal ( children: learn the basis; adults to brush up and comment on current events ; to study for school , exams , AP, tests; to study literature , discuss movies or just plan a trip to France, you reach the right person! After the first free evaluation class, I will come with a plan for you to study French online with me according to your personal needs.
Background
I am a French native with a Masters from the University of Burgundy in France.
Taught students from 5 to 88 years old in all environment , French is my passion and my mission is too teach my language through its culture.
I have been teaching in the USA for all my career. I am devoted to the success of my students and adapt myself to all their needs. I am very proud of my heritage and love to share my culture. I taught students of all ages and all levels. I organised French and Art immersion sojourns in France for adult students for years. I helped a lot of high school students and college students to achieve their goals.

From 1988 to 1997 I taught at the Alliance Francaise and the Berlitz language Center in Minneapolis in MN where I used different techniques of teaching French.
At the Alliance Francaise I taught adult, children and held a lot of workshops about Art, travelling, movies ...I also run a TV talk show in French on the cable TV.
At Berlitz language Center , I used their method of teaching and I also was the assistant director in charge of the teachers and students schedules.
I moved to FL in 1997 when I still teach and live. I taught at the Alliance Francaise , New College of Florida , the k-12 schools Out of Door Academy and IMG Academy.
At the Alliance Francaise of Sarasota , I taught all levels classes , movies classes in French and , I was member of the board of directors and the cultural director for few years.
At New College I was an adjunct instructor and taught grammar, literature at all levels and, I was in charge of the teachers assistants for the labs.
At ODA and IMG , I taught French I,II, III and IV to grades 8 to 12.
I am also a painter, writer and illustrator.

During the past 20 years, I have taken many French classes. By far, Marie Christine is my favorite teacher.
Marie Christine has taught me French in a variety of classes. All have been productive and fun. She understands her students and tailors her approach to her student’s learning abilities and needs. She also incorporates the French culture in her lessons. So I have not only learned the French language from her but have learned about French art, cuisine, music and French life in general.
Marie Christine has patiently helped me with my French accent and has helped me with my specific needs as a volunteer and tourist in various French speaking countries . Her passion for the French language and culture and her love of teaching is evident. Anyone who is able to take a class or arrange for her to be a their teacher is very lucky. All her students that I have met over the years agree that she is a superb teacher and we all love learning French because of Marie Christine.
I am excited that she will be teaching on line so that more can benefit from her wonderful teaching skills, safely and at a distance.
