I approach each topic by understanding that all students have different ways of learning. As an educator, it is my desire to help students succeed not only in the classroom but also in life. My students should meet their fullest potential by being provided with a safe and open learning environment in which open discussion and idea sharing is encouraged. I believe such an environment should exist when three of the following elements are followed. (1) The teacher is each student’s greatest resource and should always act as a guide, (2) students should allow their interests to help with their learning, (3) respect for others should always be promoted.
I am a future teacher currently working on receiving my credentials in general education. I am also a recent graduate from Fresno Pacific University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in liberal studies. I am eager to help students achieve their goals academically and willing to help in any way I can.

Currently working as an Instructional Assistant at Kings County for moderate/severe impaired students
Destiny has been a close family acquaintance for over five years. She is a hard-working, determined and has a way of putting those around her at ease. She consistently demonstrates good judgement in her life choices and has high ethical standards.
As an educator myself, it has been a great joy for me to see Destiny’s passion and dedication for working with children. I have no doubt that she will be the type of teacher who positively impacts the lives of the children in a memorable and long lasting way. Her work as a behavior technician implementing ABA for students with autism provides her with a unique insight and skill set for meeting the diverse learning needs of students in a classroom setting.
Destiny has invested all she has in preparing herself to be the best teacher she can be. While she is just at the beginning of her credentialing pathway, I have no doubt that with the support of an intern program she will quickly and effectively develop the additional knowledge, skills, and abilities to grow into an outstanding teacher.
In January, Destiny took the initiative to apply and was hired as an instructional assistant in the Kings County Office of Education’s program for students with moderate to severe disabilities so that she could gain additional experience and insight on establishing and maintaining a rigorous learning environment for students. In the short time she has worked with us she is already established a reputation as someone who not only cares deeply for students but is able to balance that compassion with high expectations and appropriate support for all students.
Destiny has been pivotal at helping to maintain an organized and well-managed classroom. She has been able to provide a new perspective to the classroom teacher and has suggested effective strategies they have already implemented to help reach and teach the most challenging students in the classroom.
It is without reservation that I recommend Destiny Sanchez as a Superprof tutor.
