About Jessica

My name is Jessica, but I prefer Jess, and I’m 20 years old. I was born in the UK to British parents and I moved to Normandy, France 11 years ago. I received my Brevet in 2020 (GCSE equivalent), and my Baccalauréat in 2023 (A level equivalent). I also have a DELF certificate from 2017, although it is quite outdated as my level has significantly improved to a native fluent.

I have always had a passion for teaching - whether that was aiding my mother who is an English teacher in France, doing 1 on 1 lessons with French students wanting to learn English as well as English students wanting to learn French.

I am kind hearted, free of judgement and accepting of anyone willing to learn.

About the lesson

Bonjour! I’m Jess, a fluent French speaker with a DELF certificate and a French Baccalauréat, having lived in France for 11 years.

I love helping students of all ages improve their French — whether it’s speaking, listening, reading, or writing. I have experience teaching 1v1, but also being a TA in high school level French classes.

I offer fun, practical, and personalised lessons, tailored to your level and goals. No level is too small, and no age is too high.
Lessons can be:
• Online (any time except 3–7pm on weekdays)
• In-person on weekends

Whether you want to practise conversational French, improve school skills, or boost confidence, I can help you achieve your goals in a relaxed and engaging way.
