My name is Brad Carter and I will be teaching music theory and guitar lessons. Both lessons can range from just starting out to already having years of experience. I will give small homework assignments based on the lesson for that day, and I will also have a short quiz at the end of each subject. I will adapt to the specific learning style for each student and teach them in the best way possible for them to learn. I m also very patient because I, myself, am still a student and I know how confusing music can become sometimes.
I have been playing guitar and studying music theory for 4 years. I started off in High School and then furthered my education by taking lessons from a teacher from Berklee named Eddy Troxler. He has taught me nearly everything I know today. I was a TA for my High School in both the Music Theory course, and the Music in Film course. I used to teach music theory and guitar lessons at a local store in my town, but now I am continuing my music education at Full Sail University by studying Music Production.
In my lessons, you can learn any and all of the following…
-Intro to Guitar
-Intermediate Guitar (Ex: Chord Progressions, Pentatonic Scale, Major an Minor Scales, Improvising)
-Advanced Guitar (Ex: Sweep Picking, Modes, Improving Speed, Advanced Improvising)
-Intro to Piano
