About Tahir
Hello!
I’m Tahir, I am a friendly 28 year old with excellent science and economics knowledge, but also importantly for tutoring... communication skills!
If a student is unable to understand my explanation, I quickly think of a different way to overcome the problem, whether GCSE, A-Level or degree level. I pride myself on being able to appropriately explain concepts to suit the level of my pupil.
I graduated from The University of Manchester with a First Class Honours in Economics & Politics. I also achieved 3 A's at GCSE Level for all Bio, Chem & Physics.
I also achieved the highest A-Level mark for Economics at Loreto College.
After graduation I immediately started working for an innovative modern technology company based in London, where my day-job combines digital media with marketing technology.
I really enjoy learning myself and started to learn the ropes of business after I graduated by starting my own digital marketing agency, so I know firsthand that a learning new concepts can initially be daunting for students.
Therefore, I think it is really important to foster an environment where students feel comfortable to ask me to stop and repeat/re-explain without being made to feel foolish.
