I approach each topic by first broadly introducing the topic with a useful and easy to understand description, providing a relevant example, then by breaking down each sub-topic in order for simpler and more practical retention. From here, practice makes perfect! Repetition is key, as I believe many examples presented in different ways and formats may make the learning experience better. I individualize each learning program for each client/student in order to ensure optimal learning and retention.
I am a recent graduate from Texas State University. I received my Master's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science and instructed an Exercise Physiology laboratory to undergraduate students. I also have experience with individual sports such as softball/baseball, basketball, football, track, swimming, and tennis. I have personal training experience so I'm very familiar with the gym an instructing others. I have a certification in sports nutrition through the ISSN and have knowledge on eating habits, weight loss, and overall health and wellness.
