Methodology
I specialize in teaching learning strategies to make reading and writing easier including speed reading, comprehension tools, and essay writing formulas. I can teach students how to read faster and how to comprehend stronger. I can help students learn to write 5 paragraph essays in 30 minutes and 10 page papers in 3 to 4 hours.

I have a Bachelor of Science in communication studies, a Bachelor of Arts in English, and a Master of Fine Arts in English-Creative Writing. I have been teaching and tutoring since 2003. I have worked as a reading teacher, a special education teacher, and as an associate instructor. I am currently a middle school English and creative writing teacher.

Graduate and doctoral students are $40 an hour.
Distances further than 20 miles require an additional $10 per hour.
