Current graduate student for Biostatistics at Duke University. I studied Mathematics and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University, acting as the Lead Math Tutor on the university campus. I am patient and adjust my methodology in order to best suit the student's individual needs as well as the teacher's expectations. I try to make lessons educational yet fun.
I have been a math tutor for the past three years, working more than 600 tutoring hours and helping hundreds of students in subjects ranging from algebra to multi-variable calculus. Many students under my instruction have raised their grades by multiple letter grades, achieving As or Bs. I also hold a Level 3 College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certificate.
Awarded Outstanding Peer Educator of the Year for 2018 from Southern New Hampshire University. Graduated Summa cum laude in May; currently enrolled in Duke's Master program for Biostatistics
