I prefer a one-on-one teaching approach where I can assist students immediately and address any questions they may have one the spot. We can go as slow or as fast as you want, although the slow approach is much more effective for learning and applying everything in the "correct" way.
I am a graduate from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where I received a degree in Recording and Production (audio engineering). My four years of studying at Appalachian were coupled with lessons in classical guitar, playing in a guitar ensemble, and music theory courses. I have experience playing classical guitar in front of audiences as well as rock guitar as I played in a band for a short period before COVID. Metal and rock are my passion as well as jamming on the acoustic guitar. I've never had actual students in the past, however, I have given several lessons to close friends who were getting started learning guitar or knew how to play but didn't know what they were playing. I would love to pass on my knowledge to anyone who wants to learn anything related to guitar.
