My goal is to always start with instruction and checks for understanding so that I can provide my students with a strong foundation upon which they will feel confident when tasked with applying that knowledge. I always follow up with examples and questions so that I can reinforce and resolve any residual issues about the subject matter that my student may have.
Currently, I am a freshman, premedical student at Harvard College that is pursuing a concentration in Neuroscience with a citation in Spanish. During high school, I took various AP and honors courses and performed extremely well in all of them (my high school GPA was 4.98 weighted, 3.99 unweighted). In my senior year, I also took dual enrollment classes in multivariable calculus and linear algebra. I have three years of tutoring experience (which includes 3 years of volunteer tutoring, and a little over 6 months of private tutoring for an 8th grade algebra student) and have tutored many different subjects (history, spanish, english, chemistry, various levels of math), but have also aided high school seniors with college preparation.
Tutored various, high school level subject areas for two and a half years. Tutored an eighth student in Algebra for a year.
