As a Harvard Honors Grad in Social Relations and retired Trial Lawyer with 25 years experience, I have education, training and experience which can be effectively employed to help a wide range of student tutoring needs. I have a very friendly, energetic and thorough style and have helped students from ages 8 to 68 tackle writing assignments (such as Common App essays, homework and/or research papers), SAT, ACT, ISEE, PSAT and other standardized test preparation, and, advance in French, Latin and even chess! I much enjoy the tutoring I am privileged to do and genuinely care for each and every student I help to the very best of my God-given abilities.
After practicing law for 25 years I have been tutoring students now for over 5 years specifically for SAT, PSAT, ACT, ISEE and other standardized tests.
I also have helped college applicants with the Common App and their essay for same and many other students of all ages in writing, homework assignments/management, papers and presentations.
I also have tutored in French and Latin.
I am happy to report that my most recent SAT student, who I helped to write her Common App essay and for whom I wrote a Common App recommendation, was just admitted to her #1 college of choice: she was ecstatic and I was thrilled!
