I have given lessens to college level students, but that itself ranges from beginners to students to have been in school for multiple years. I have also worked with students that had learning disabilities and have receive training on how to approach topics in many different ways. In general however, I approach tutoring in a way that incorporates all types of learning. I mostly apply visual and auditory by verbally explaining the situation as well as drawing diagrams.
I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I also received two minors in both chemistry and Spanish. While there I became a tutor for many courses relating to biology, chemistry, statistics, and intro level math. I tutored for two years and have interacted with many students and I have experience with both in person tutoring and online. Many students experienced higher grades and a deeper understanding after a session with me. I have also received praise because I have made students feel more confident in their studies, and that is something I am very proud of.
