I have a Master's in Education in a program called "Arts in Learning" - meaning, I am always looking for the creative and fun way to teach any subject. I'm retired from teaching in private schools, both elementary and middle, up to high school. Most recently I teach music lessons, and do private tutoring. I know that each student learns differently, and I tailor my approach to my student's interests. I am also fluent in French, good for vocabulary building!
I have been teaching and tutoring for about twenty years. I'm comfortable with students of all age groups, but especially later elementary through high school. I really enjoy working one on one (as in tutoring), where I can focus on what makes the student get excited about learning. It might be a song, or a movie.
My travel is free if it's less than 15 minutes
