Kathleen A. Cassandra RN MS LNC

As a nurse and educator for over 30 years, I have taught in various pre-licensure nursing programs, including associate degree, diploma and baccalaureate degree. I have advised many undergraduate students and mentored graduate students, both in advanced practice and nursing education. I have participated in curriculum development at many levels including the creation of an RN-BSN Program. I have developed, coordinated and taught numerous didactic, skills lab and clinical nursing courses. Although I have been an Assistant Professor since 1980, I have supervised and mentored new and tenured faculty at several colleges/schools of nursing. During that time, I have served as chair of the Admissions Committee, chair of the Curriculum Committee and a member of several other academic committees.
