About Grace
My name is Grace, but my students have always called me Miss Gracie!
I lead with kindness & care and am truly passionate about teaching and instilling a love of learning.
Currently I am on maternity leave from my teaching position, so I am hoping to meet some new students whilst I adjust to my new role as a stay at home mum!

I am an experienced early childhood/primary school teacher who is well versed in early childhood and primary level curriculum outcomes. Using the Victorian Curriculum as a guide, together we will tackle your learning objectives.
My time as a teacher has taught me many skills in meeting varied learning needs (this sometimes means supporting 28 learning needs all at once!) I am able to tailor my teaching to the needs of the individual and am here to support you in your learning journey. When learning is enjoyable we are better able to absorb the information and build in confidence and engagement.
I am passionate about children learning through play to connect with learning outcomes. I am also proficient in scaffolding children's understandings as they build in knowledge and connect ideas from the world around them.
Typically lessons will run for 45mins (age dependent) and will be facilitated virtually (now that we are all virtual experts after a couple of years of remote learning thanks to Covid).
*Although my tutoring is targeted towards children, if you are an adult who is interested in learning the foundations of literacy, I am very happy to speak with you about your learning needs. After all, it is the same process and we all need to start at the beginning!
