My primary teaching objective is to ensure a safe and transparent learning environment for my student. My methodology for teaching is to adjust to my students needs. My second objective is to create a fun and engaging learning experience that is differentiated for all learning types. Finally, my tertiary objective is to cater to the social and emotional needs of the student.
Currently enrolled in the Houston Independent School Districtâs Alternative Certification Program, where Iâm learning classroom management strategies, student engagement techniques, and standards associated with TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills). My experience working with kids has been through my time volunteering at the S.H.A.P.E community center where I have worked with kids from grades K-8. Here I supported instructional activities, learner engagement, classroom management and behavior modification goals. Currently I am an employee at S.H.A.P.E Community Centers summer program, where I function as a teacher for Middle School students, ages 11-13.

During my masterâs degree program in school, I wrote a thesis focusing on: âThe Dry-electroencephalogram and support vector for objective pain assessmentâ, which has been published in the, American Association of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) journal. I performed complex analysis of the human data attained, which necessitated knowledge of laboratory techniques and principles regarding neuroimaging equipment and the interrelationship between pain and brain signals.
