I am a high school graduate with a year of Para Legal studies in Juneau, Alaska. Spelling and reading have always been my best subjects. I worked for the Alaska Legislature, Legal Affairs Agency as an "Enrolling Clerk." Prior to that legislative position, I worked as a Legislative Secretary for the House Finance Committee and later as a Secretary for Senator who had a Seat on the Senate Finance Committee.
I have not been certified as a Teacher. Our local school district has, however, certified me to be a substitute teacher. Teaching children to read, write, spell, and do some art projects would be a part-time vocation that I would enjoy doing.
My rates would vary based on the distance I needed to travel, weather conditions, time of day, and student's level of need, as well as ability to pay.
I do not have a structured course and would be a patient tutor for children needing more assistance in the subjects of spelling, reading, and basic writing. I received the "Youth Of The Year" award while attending Jr. High School which was awarded for excellence in school work and contributing to the community in service-related activities. Working with words was and still is a passion.
