I have been a math and science teacher for the last 3 years. I am very passionate about math education and making math something to look forward to. I love teaching and I know that there are so many students out there looking for a tutor that they will connect with and help them learn in the way that works best for them. As an educator, I understand how overwhelming an intense topic like math can be. I like to incorporate instructional games and humor to help lighten the mood and make learning math fun. A typical lesson with me would include a review of the materials and questions the student has from their lessons that week, helping the student complete challenging assignments by guiding them through mathematic procedures, and supplemental learning problems when necessary. I specialize in Algebra and Geometry, but I am happy to work with children 5th-12th grade with any level of math.
