About John
My name is John and I earned my BA in Art from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My experience includes the Art Institute of Las Vegas, and Nevada State University as well as the Clark County School District and public charter school where I am currently employed. I have even taught at art camps and after school art programs.

I take my time breaking down the instructions into smaller, easily accomplished steps. Students are allowed the time they need to achieve their goals. Helpful direction and advice is always available.
I have taught 2D/3D art and design at all levels from Kindergarten to college level. Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor/Gouache, Graphite, Charcoal, Oil/Chalk Pastel and Lino-printing are all fields of experience. Classes such as observational and life drawing, color theory, fundamentals of design and perspective drawings are all classes I have taught.
