About Kelly

I am a teacher at a high school in gwinnett country in the state of Georgia. I have taught here for three years. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a degree in history and a certificate in education. I am currently getting my masters in secondary education with the focus and history at Georgia Southern university. My true love is United States history. I love teaching about all of the secrets US history house to offer but also of the misconceptions people believe Are true!

My teaching method is to go into each lesson as if I was the student and to try to understand their learning and how they learn and their abilities and tried to reflect my lessons around that . I believe that all students have a chance at success they just have to know how to succeed where to start and why should they be successful in the first place . I always use different elements and each lesson for example videos pictures games lecture notes all that is always included. I also do a very good job at constantly repeating previous information to make sure that the students always keep that knowledge fresh in their minds . This is done through different review games activities or just simple brain talks.
