I teach Introduction to Computer Science and Introduction to Introduction to Business at the community college level - among other classes. My teaching style is 50% lecture and 50% hands-on. I tried to make my classes fun because that is my style of teaching and also because my students have told me this style helps them to learn and memorize concepts easier and faster.
Started working in the Information Technology field in 1989. My experience includes: Mainframe (you may be too young to remember this :-), programming, project management, networks, communications, and web development. I have three degrees in computers... Programmer/Analyst, Systems Administrator and Information Management Systems. Also, I have being a professor at private/public community colleges for about 15 years.
My rates are the same for elementary, high school, community college level students. My best rates are for students that come to my place. Cancellation of classes is a flat rate of $3.00 per hour.
