I generally like to assess a students capabilities first and get a feel for thie preferred learning style and either supplement that style with others or focus primarily on that style. Each student is different and once you identify what motivates them and what their learning style is, you can teach them.
I am a Bachelor of Psychology major with a focus on cognitive and social psychology. My approach to teaching is to identify the strengths of each person and use those to enhance the learning experience. I have worked for the state (DCF) and host financial literacy training to children from ages 8-17
I've only known Sandie for a short time, but from what I've learned about her, she is passionate, sincere and prepared. It is my estimation that those qualities are needed for the next generation to be successful and it is my earnest belief that Sandie will set an excellent example in that regard.
