So, every student is different. I believe kindness and humor are the highest form of intelligence on a personal level, and academically everyone learns differently. Learning disabilities are about working around them with a positive mindset; did you know there's a font that helps dyslexia? Some people are better at learning through spatial awareness than a flat screen, while others are the opposite, as is seen in an at-home learning scenario. I'll work with you to see the information from another perspective. If you want one on one tutoring, or if you have a group you study with and you'd like someone to help coordinate you, I can adapt to help you understand key things you may be tested on, and in a way that will be applicable when you're in your field. I am a peer to everyone, and I love helping answer questions.
I graduated from a trade school for massage therapy at McIntosh College NH, where I was a tutor to peers mostly for Anatomy, Physiology, and pathologies seen in the massage field. I helped students of all ages and backgrounds study and prep for tests in a walk-in basis at the library. Before that, I took developmental biology as an AP course in highschool, as well as anatomy, and basic biology was one of my favorite subjects out of all the natural sciences.
Due to taxes, I do need to charge appropriately, but it's still a lower rate than a lot of tutors available. Due to special circumstances or disabilities, I may be able to charge less. If you bring a friend (one), their first session with you will be free. (So, the second time you bring another friend, they are also free, as would be a third, fourth...you get it. :P )
