Methodology
My name is Naomi and those I would give lessons to are people who have a basic understanding of the English language, both written and verbal. I would approach topics by seeing how much someone knows by starting a basic conversation. Based on how the conversation goes and the understanding of both parties, I would then teach from their understanding. If there's anything I'm not sure of, I will research it and come back with information for the next lesson.
Background
I am a writer that has my Bachelor's in Journalism from Wayne State University and 20 years of experience. I started writing fanfiction when I was 10 years old and have loved writing ever since. I've volunteered for ESL groups back in my college days, helping those who came to the United States with their English language skills. This would be my first year formally teaching, as I only have informal teaching experience with small kids learning the basics of English.

I was and am an Outreach Coordinator for AmeriCorps. With them, I managed social media content on Facebook for a local organization that rebuilt old homes and wrote monthly newsletters, distributing them to a mailing list of 2500 + individuals
I also was an intern in 2015 at a local radio station and wrote scripts for on-air radio promotions.
I also wrote articles for the Wayne State student paper and, in my spare time, I write fiction.
