Methodology
My teaching method is very much dependent on the student. I try to cater to everything I think they need based on where they are in their individual musical journey. Lessons are casual, stress free, and the students chooses what they would like to learn.
Background
I’m a senior who attends East Tennessee State University where I’m majoring in bluegrass and old time music with a concentration in teaching. I’ve been teaching private lessons for 5 years and I absolutely love it! Music has been my life for the past 15 years and I can’t think of anything more rewarding.

AMAZING TEACHER!!
Sarah is so great I’m so many ways. I’m taking upright bass with her right now & I’ve never learned so fast in my LIFE! Somehow, she makes things make sense that I could never understand before. She’s so sweet & you can tell how much she cares about her students and teaching. Definitely worth the money!
I took upright bass from Sarah all of last year over Skype and she was just incredible. I’ve never had a teacher who makes things so easy to understand. She truly takes the time to make sure you understand, while also teaching you the things you’re interested in. She’s so fun as well! Highly Recommend!
