I am a retired but licenced PT in USA for last 22 years and had practiced PT in USA ,mainly in hospitals for 8 years where I had to teach ambulatory skills in orthopedic patients which I had absolutely loved.

I first analyse student's skills and difficulties in grammer, sentence formation, short questions answers in a paragraphs then essay writing skills and side by side emphasise on reading what they have written and pronunciations ,pauses and timings of their reading skills. I am a very patient person. Besides, I am very good in correcting mistakes. I would stucture my approach based on student's weaknesses.
