About the lesson

I utilize a variety of techniques because I am mindful of different learning styles. For the affective learning domain I do oral teaching and hands on. For students that fall in the cognitive domain I tend to play games, write essays and have them orally express what they learn. Psychomotor learners generally respond well with games (i.e.spelling bees, Total Physical response, story telling...). As a teacher / tutor I remain flexible with my techniques and adapt them as necessary to meet the needs of every student on a daily basis.

I have a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Sociology.
I have 23 years of experience in teaching. I have taught 5th through 12th grade. I created and utilized a GED prep program and had a 95% success rate. I counseled at a rehabilitation Center for 3 years as a certified addiction Counselr CACI. I taught Spanish to Spanish speakers for 9 years and used a self created program entitled "Hispanohablantes"
