Linguistics graduate student with ESL teaching experience offering ESL lessons in Richmond, VA

Methodology

I work with students to understand their goals, from expanding vocabulary, to grammar skills, to improving reading comprehension or accent reduction, and provide resources for the target learning areas for both in-class and independent practice, including Quizlets, vocab lists, Youtube videos, and joint-reading sessions.

Background

I am a graduate student of linguistics with 4+ years of education in learning areas like language acquisition, the phonetics of accents, and training in Teaching English as a Second Language. Multi-lingual communication is my passion and I love helping students learn.
