About Andrew

I am a graduate of University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Environmental Systems and a minor in Educational Studies. As of January 2021, I will be starting an M.Ed. program with University of the People. I have over 100+ hours of in-class tutoring experience for high school Biology and Avid.

I try to follow the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and apply inquiry-based learning to help my students (Middle and High School Science Students) construct concepts in their minds. I use scaffolding techniques and subgoals to create a structured lesson plan.
