About Kat

I am a mixed media Artist with a Master of Fine Art in Printmaking. I have been teaching for 11 years, and have experience teaching at the college level. I can help you with technical instruction, developing a studio practice, and to realize project ideas.

I have dedicated my studio practice to researched based projects. My teaching philosophy reflects the challenges and experiments I have yielded from my studio. I teach students to explore projects in 2D and 3D using multiple techniques and media including drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media. I approach each student with respect and compassion for there unique learning processes, and provide constructive critique.
