My teaching philosophy is focused on allowing the students I tutor the time and space for them to learn the material and correctly apply it. I view my role as a tutor to first inform them of the basic knowledge they need and supporting them through problems that are especially difficult. In short, I emphasize the individual practice for students so that they better understand and apply the knowledge I teach.
I am a student in the advanced MENU math program at Northwestern University. I have over 3 years of tutoring experience to children from 4th grade to 12th grade in both math and physics. I feel that my passion for teaching and practical and efficient manner of tutoring have allowed for the success of the students I mentor. I always look forward to helping students better understand math and science to better prepare them for their professional career and life.
