I like to start by accessing what the student already knows about the particular concept in question, as that allows me to spend more time on the core of what they are struggling with, and not spend to much time on things they already understand.
I have just a little over 1 year of experience tutoring. I tutored at the community college I was attending as a peer tutor. I was told many times throughout my time at the college that I’m very good at explaining things in a way that others can understand. Currently, I am in the process of transferring to Oregon State University in the fall, where I will be starting my junior year in pursuing my bachelors degree in biology. I absolutely love math, and would love to share my knowledge with you!
